Overview

• GMR Londa Hydropower Private Limited ("GMR Londa Hydropower") is developing a 225 MW project in East Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh.

• The project has completed the Detailed Project Report ("DPR") and received techno-economic concurrence from the Central Electricity Authority.

• The ToR for EIA studies has been approved by MoEF and the EIA / SIA studies have been completed for the project.

• In July 2014, public hearing was successfully conducted at the project site and subsequently, the final EIA report has been submitted to MoEF in relation to secure the environmental clearance for the Project.
